The Grain Storage Facility Safety Cost-Share helps Minnesota farmers buy, ship, and install eligible safety equipment for on-farm grain bins or silos.
Amount Available
For Fiscal Year 2022 (July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022), we have approximately $100k for this and the Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) Rebate programs. We will update the amount available throughout the year.
The Grain Storage Facility Safety Cost-Share is a public-private partnership. In addition to funding from the Minnesota Legislature, previous donors to the Grain Storage Facility Safety Cost-Share program include Cargill and the Minnesota Corn Growers Association.
