Crop Protection Products

Central Region Cooperative offers a complete lineup of quality herbicide, insecticide and fungicide products from every major manufacturer. Our forward-thinking agronomy account managers will guide you through the seemingly endless list of products to help you create a pre and post planting crop protection plan that mitigates the challenges that weeds, pests and diseases can bring to your field in any given season.

Crop Nutrition

Central Region Cooperative fertilizer plants in Sleepy Eye, Buffalo Lake, Bird Island, Hanska and Fairfax have you covered for any and all of the pre and post planting crop nutrients you need. In addition to our custom blending and bulk delivery service, our extensive product lineup includes:

  • Dry and liquid fertilizer
  • Anhydrous ammonia
  • Plant health products
  • WinField®United plant nutrition products
  • Compass Minerals’ portfolio of Wolf TraxDDP Nutrients, which come with EvenCoatTechnology to ensure that each and every granule of N, P, K or S in a fertilizer blend are coated, resulting in blanket-like distribution of the nutrient across the field, in close proximity to the plant roots and early plant uptake.

Our agronomy account managers will perform soil tests and analyze the results to help you create the ideal growing conditions in your fields before you put seed in the ground. They can also use in-season scouting observations and plant tissue analysis to help you determine if in-season nutrient applications are needed to give your crops a boost.
 
If you don’t have the time or the equipment to apply the nutrients yourself, our certified custom applicators specialize in:

Thanks to our partnership with industry-leading seed companies and a local seed house for small grains, Central Region Cooperative sells and supports some of the best crop seed on the market, including crops like corn, soybeans, alfalfa, cover crops and Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) seed. Our agronomy account managers will help you select the right seed for the right acre, and place it at the right depth in the right conditions. Our agronomy account managers leverage Climate FieldView™ to store data and help farmers identify and better manage the acres that provide the best opportunity for increased profit potential. NutriSolutions®

Our agronomists can visit your farm at different points during the growing season to take plant tissue samples. NutriSolutions® tissue testing and analyses pinpoint nutrient deficiencies at critical growth stages so we can help farmers make adjustments before yield potential is compromised. We can also import tissue data results into the Climate FieldView™ application for a complete review of previous seasons to help you plan for next season.
