Dear CRC Member,
We are excited to announce that the membership of Bird Island Soil Service voted favorably to the sale of assets to Central Region Cooperative and the dissolution of their company.
Members of Bird Island Soil Service approved the asset sale by a super-majority of 99%. The effective date of the CRC’s asset purchase will be April 30, 2022.
I ask for your assistance, patience, and positivity as together, we navigate through change. All employees of Bird Island Soil Service have been offered employment with CRC. In the coming days and weeks, we will be working together with employees from our new partner to transition and merge processes, plans, and structures.
We look forward to the future, together, with our new partners and are excited to continue to grow this cooperative for our members.
